A healthcare clinic offering cosmetic services asked me for help getting more visibility on Google Maps. They’d been handling their own marketing and weren’t sure what was working—or if anything was.
They were focused on “rankings,” but didn’t have any real data to show how clients were finding them, or what led to bookings.
| No Google Analytics, no booking insights—just guesses.
WTF were they looking at?
To give them a clearer picture, I:
- Set up Google Analytics and connected it to their JaneApp account so we could track actual bookings
- Used data to show how much traffic was coming from Google Maps – without getting lost in technical details
- Identified that their most important service page had received zero clicks from search over the past 16 months!
Now, instead of chasing rankings, they’re watching real numbers
- How many people visit the website from Google Maps
- Which services are leading to bookings
- Which pages are not receiving traffic
Bookings picked up – because their site started working for real business goals, not just pageviews.
This is exactly the kind of work we do in the Is Your Marketing Working? program.
