Integrating GA With Other Platforms

Google Ads

Import reliable GA4 conversions into Google Ads to improve bidding, optimization, and audience targeting.

CRMs

Connect GA4 with your CRM to link early website interactions with long-cycle conversions for a full customer-journey view.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API (CAPI)

Use Meta Pixel and CAPI to improve lead and purchase tracking. CAPI doesn’t link to GA4, but both can share the same tagging setup for consistent data.

GA4 Implementation & Management

Configure Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 properties, data streams, and key events to track what matters most to your business:
  • Set up conversion tracking for forms, leads, downloads, ecommerce, and other high-value actions
  • Implement cross-domain tracking to ensure accurate attribution across websites, apps, or booking tools
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot tags, events, and pixels to ensure data accuracy
  • Add advanced configurations as needed, including content groups, custom audiences, and enhanced ecommerce

Reporting & Data Analysis: Analysis & Interpretation

Clear, Structured Reporting

Data can be presented in dashboards, summaries, or spreadsheets so you can easily understand performance without digging through GA4.

Explanation of the Numbers

Sometimes graphs and tables are not enough. We explain what the numbers mean, highlighting trends anomalies, and opportunities – along with actionable recommendations.

Teach and Educate

What if we taught you how to explore your own data in GA4 so you can answer everyday questions without relying on a custom report for every scenario?

Here are a Few of the Challenges We've Heard From Clients:

  • GA4 often underreports because:
events aren’t firing on every device/browser
  • consent mode suppresses data (especially in the EU/UK)
  • ad blockers prevent tracking
  • form or checkout changes broke your event triggers
  • cross-domain tracking isn’t configured properly
  • the event is firing but not marked as a conversion
  • users convert offline or after long delays
  • Neither system is “right.” They count conversions differently:
Meta deduplicates, models, and attributes aggressively
  • Meta uses different attribution windows (7-day click / 1-day view by default)
  • GA4 uses last-click attribution by default
  • Meta receives CAPI events even when the browser blocks tracking
  • GA4 loses more events due to privacy and browser restrictions

They are measuring similar behaviour with different rules.

  • Shopify is generally the source of truth for completed orders because it records transactions at the server level.
GA4 is a good indicator but not an accounting tool. Gaps occur due to:
  • blocked browser tracking
  • iOS restrictions
  • order confirmation
  • URL behaviour
  • redirects or checkout apps
  • events firing late or not at all

The goal in GA4 is directional accuracy, not identical numbers.

  • Not always. It depends on how much data loss you’re experiencing, whether having more of your conversions counted matters for your decisions, and whether modeled conversions are sufficient for your campaigns.

Pros

  • Helps recover conversions lost to ad blockers and privacy settings
  • Gives ad platforms stronger signals for optimization
  • More stable than browser-only setups after site or form changes
  • Can improve site speed by reducing third-party scripts

Cons

  • Extra setup and ongoing hosting costs
  • More technical maintenance compared to browser-only setups
  • Not necessary if modeled conversions already meet your needs

We can review your setup and advise whether server-side tagging would offer meaningful benefit for your situation.

Possibly. When your workflow changes, tracking often needs updating to follow it. Common causes include:

  • events breaking due to changes in forms, buttons, IDs, or templates
  • checkout apps or third-party tools bypassing your GTM container
  • cross-domain tracking misconfigurations
consent mode limiting what GA4 can record
  • GA4 filters excluding legitimate traffic
  • pages, URLs, redirects, or flows changing in ways that stop events from firing
  • CRM handoff or confirmation pages change
  • new tools added to the process (booking software, chat widgets, HubSpot forms, etc.)

If we set up your existing tracking, you can hire us hourly any time to confirm everything still looks correct. If we didn’t set it up originally, we can help through our Assess Data Mismatches service.

Ongoing Support

Tracking can break quietly – during site updates, content changes, platform upgrades, or new marketing campaigns. Data Quality Monitoring provides periodic reviews to ensure your GA4 and GTM setup continues to collect accurate information.

This can include:

  • Periodic accuracy checks on key events and conversions
  • Validation after major site or form changes
  • Reviews of significant drops, spikes, or missing events in your data
  • Regular reviews of important events, conversions, and integrations
  • The goal is to catch issues early so you can rely on your reporting and make decisions with confidence.
  • We’ll reach out on a quarterly basis to ask whether anything has changed that might affect your data – Google Ads accounts, CRMs, new marketing platforms, website forms, and more.
  • You can also contact us any time with questions like, “We updated our lead form – can you confirm tracking still works?” and we’ll handle the required checks and fixes as hourly work.

Why Accuracy Is Never 100 Percent

  • Even with a perfect setup, no analytics platform reports every conversion. Differences in privacy rules, ad blockers, browser settings, mobile behavior, consent banners, and platform modeling all create unavoidable gaps. GA4, Meta, TikTok, Shopify, and CRMs each use different attribution windows, tracking methods, and definitions — so some variation will always remain.
  • The goal isn’t perfection — it’s minimizing gaps and getting data close enough (often 90–95 percent when conditions allow) to make confident decisions.
