What the heck is the Google Dance? It is a series of tasks that DriveTraffic implements at the start of all client projects. These tasks are designed to set up measurement so we know what your baseline traffic and conversions (leads, sales, etc.) are so we can measure improvement as we do our digital marketing work!
Food for thought: If you are not measuring, how do you know if your Google Ads Campaign is working?
Here is a rough outline of the tasks we complete:
- We’ll either gain access to your existing accounts (and if you don’t have these), sign you up for:
- Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Google Analytics (GA)
- Google Search Console (GSC)
- Google My Business (GMB)
- We will then create events and goals in Google Analytics such as but not limited to:
- Clicks on email
- Clicks on phone numbers
- Outbound links
- Form completions
- We will also set up Heatmap Account which will provide us with insight as to how visitors navigate your webpage
- Max of 3 heatmaps
