ChatGPT is used in this example but tools such as Perplexity.ai work just as well to output content.
Did you know that you can train an AI bot to know everything about your brand? Not just the services you offer or products you sell but anything you wish to share from brand colours to tone of voice. I trained both Perplexity and ChatGPT to act like Brian Tracy, master sales coach and then I ask questions about particular client situations or prospect dilemmas and get answers akin to what Brian would have provided!
Now what if you could duplicate this concept for each and every client (or product) you have to offer? I don’t like to use client names while interacting with the bots so it would be difficult to keep all of this information straight for (meaning it cannot recall previous information you shared with it).
You have a couple of choices to maintain brand information for each client:
- Pay for ChatGPT (I think it’s about $20 USD/mo currently) so you can create multiple ChatGPTs
- Use a spreadsheet or other document to maintain a series of prompts for each client
Cheaper is not always better, as time is worth money, and the spreadsheet method is less efficient (takes more time). It takes money to make money in business, so even if you start with the free route, at some point, you will need to increase efficiency across the board to make more money!
What Prompts are Needed for Client Brand Information?
Ideas on client data to maintain or train on:
- Tell the bot to be concise, not verbose – no intros, no summaries
- Who should the bot pretend to be (a digital marketing agency, a hotel operator).
- What does this client do/offer
- What are this client’s USPs (Unique Selling Points)
- What is the tone
- What is the current task (outline, blog post, rewrite)
You can always refine this information as you go!
How to Create Your Own GPT Without Code or Experience
- Head to https://chatgpt.com/gpts/editor (or select your name and then “My GPTs”)
- Click the Create button
- In the Create tab, you can indicate the name. I preface my bots with “Client” and then the client name (Client – XYZ for example). You can provide just the basics for now and more information (such as uploading client’s style sheet) later.
- When you’re ready to publish your GPT, select “Publish”. You can make your GPT:
- Private so only you can access it
- Shared so anyone with the link may access it (great for teams or agencies)
- Available in the marketplace
To see the GPTs you have created, click on Explore GTPs in the left column (from ChatGPT home). This takes you to the marketplace of GPTs but if you click on “Mine” in the top right corner, you will see the GPTs you have created.
Example of an AI prompt for a Psychologist
Pretend you are Brian Tracy, master sales coach, and are wanting to help this business owner better sell their Psychology services by way of a friendly, approachable, informative page on their website related to Stress Management. The approach of this business is to use CBT. My concern about the content is that it is too Wikipedia like (informative, educational) and not focused enough on how the Psychologist can help the client. Can you please rewrite?
[I then upload the content provided by the client.] Note that I then review the content and make changes as opposed to simply using the output from a bot without reviewing it at this stage in the game. I also pass this onto the client to further revamp the content into their own voice. I can upload these revisions into ChatGPT (or bot of choice) to help it learn for future requests I make!
Example AI prompt for a Home Renovations Company
Pretend you are master sales coach brian tracy. You are writing content about bathroom renovations for a builder’s website. You want to evoke the feelings that people have; their reasons for renovating a bathroom. I don’t need long prose as there will be multiple sections to the page. Just a paragraph under each of the types of bathroom renos. Here is some food for thought for you [I upload or paste snippets of text I have saved from across the web… feelings that certain websites have selected or actual words that resonate]. Note that Chatty does not tend to use this text verbatim but rather uses it to create content with a similar feeling.
