There is a new feature available that allows your prospects to book an appointment with you – right from Google My Business (which you might know as Google Maps).
This is a pretty new feature and not too many businesses are taking advantage of it yet – be the first to show up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page and we’ll show your listing in this article!
Here are the steps to follow:
- Login to your Google My Business Account
- Edit your profile information, in particular below your URL you should have the option to add an appointment URL https://www.screencast.com/t/e2mFNtpZ8fVg – this would be the page on your website where people can book an appointment
- Save your edits and back out of your GMB account! Your updates may be live immediately or may require a few days to show in the “maps” section of Google.
Our client, a roofing contractor in Ottawa, does not offer appointment scheduling, but does have a contact page, so we linked to that and will see if “schedule an appointment” shows up in their Google My Business!
