The Need for Search Engine Visibility

There are some industries that are just behind the 8-ball when it comes to understanding the need to have a (visible) web presence.

This morning I am searching for an Incorporation Lawyer in Ottawa…I am spammed with directories offering lawyer searches so I finally cave and use one of those. I find a law firm under Kanata that offers Corporate Services, visit the website which is in Flash (Ick and I can’t copy and paste an address of the office or a phone number for example). I finally make it to the contact page…and they are located in Edmonton Alberta! Perhaps they have offices in Ottawa and just have not updated their website?

Quite a frustrating experience. I will instead turn to friends for recommendations. Do you know of a decent lawyer in Ottawa that deals with Incorporation issues? Let me know :-)
